We visited Amish Country in Ohio during May of 2015. Amish Country is primarily situated in Holmes County. We stayed at Meadow Lake RV park in Wooster…a beautiful park. The Amish Country towns are Berlin, Kidron, Mt. Hope and a host of others. There are about 40,000 Amish folks living in this area. Horse drawn carriages and buggies are almost as common on the roads as autos. The rolling hills in this rustic countryside are dotted with small farms and red barns. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. This area in Ohio is a “must see” for anyone exploring America as we are.
