We liked Oregon so much on our 2010 trip that we returned the following year…this time to look for a home. We found so many areas we liked that making a choice was hard to do. The area outside Salem was very appealing as was the coastline in Southern Oregon. We decided that our house-hunting trip was a bit premature and as of this writing (May 2016) we’re exploring America in our motorhome and not living in a brick and mortar house anywhere. We’ll probably conclude our Great American Adventure in another year and Oregon still is looking pretty good as a place to finally retire.
