The Palouse Scenic Byway in Washington State and parts of Idaho is one of the most spectacular drives we’ve taken so far on our Great American Adventure. We took the drive in late July of 2014, as a route from Livingston, Idaho to Spokane, Washington. This is a photographer’s paradise. I’m told the scenery changes dramatically with the seasons, but is always as dramatic and beautiful as it appears in these images. Endless, undulating farmlands, amber waves of grain, quaint and historical towns along the way…it’s all here. Please, please be sure to take this drive when you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed.
