We visited Riggins in July, 2014. While there, we stayed at Canyon Pines RV park, just a few miles south of town and smack dab on the Salmon River. The park owners, David and Sandy, were the best. They treated us like family. Our site was right alongside the river…perhaps 50 feet separated our door from the water. Riggins is one of the premier white water rafting destinations in the United States. Fishing and hunting are also a big part of the town’s attraction.
