September 2014. Flathead Lake is one of dozens of crystal clear mountain lakes near Glacier National Park in Montana. It’s a huge lake…even larger than Lake Tahoe. Scientists report that Flathead is one of the cleanest lakes in the populated world. It’s absolutely gorgeous. As with so many spots we visit, we find that time just doesn’t permit us to stay as long as we’d like. We could happily spend a month staying at one of the RV Parks along the shoreline. Gotta’ keep moving along, though, or our Great American Adventure might never end.
