JUNE 2015. All of the towns and places we visited in New England were truly memorable. But for the severe winters, we’d be house-hunting right now! Unfortunately, we just wouldn’t adapt well to snow and ice. Too bad we can’t afford to have a winter home here, as the rich and famous folks who do. Ah, hell…they probably aren’t even happy despite having all that money! Anyhow, our visit to Kennebunkport just happened to coincide with Barbara Bush’s 90th birthday, so in addition to seeing the spectacular Bush compound, we had fun catching a glimpse of the extended Bush family gathered for a birthday celebration.
