June, 2015. PORTSMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE. We visited Portsmouth, New Hampshire while we were staying at an RV Park in South Hampton. New Hampshire. We are in a park almost at the apex of Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire. Without diminishing Portsmouth at all, these New England towns are all somewhat alike: There is typically a white church near the center of town with a steeple…each one is photo-worthy. Most are several years old. The shops in the downtown area, usually centered around a town square with grass and benches, are small, charming and full of tempting items. And the homes in the surrounding area are all typical New England style. I could photograph them all day long. We have found New England to be the highlight of our Great American Adventure so far.
