December 2013. We stayed in Sedona during December of 2013, on the very first “loop” of our Great American Adventure. The red rocks were beautiful and dramatic. We enjoyed our stay immensely and had a chance to take our Jeep off the asphalt to get up close to the rock formations. Temperatures during the daytime were comfortable, but it got cold at night. It got all the way down to 17 degrees several nights in a row. We learned to to cope with cold weather in a hurry. Necessity is the mother of invention, right?
