Whitefish is a town in Montana near Glacier National Park, where we stayed in September, 2014. We spent an entire day in Whitefish and really enjoyed ourselves. I always like railroad-related places. This town was no exception. The Railroad played a big part in its history. The Great Northern Railway was built through the area in 1904, prompting development of the town. It is small, quaint, located on a beautiful lake and boasts a premier downhill snow ski destination in the area.
